Print Friendly, PDF & Email

There will be a partial road closure in Puchong for five months.

The road, a 400-metre stretch at Persiaran Puchong Perdana, which is near the Kompleks Puchong Perdana and heading towards Puchong Permai, will be closed for five months beginning 26 December 2014, until 31 May 2015.

According to Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, the closure was to facilitate construction of the Ampang Light Rail Transit (LRT) extension project.

To guide road users to Puchong Prima, there will be three alternative routes which will be separated according to types of vehicle (light, heavy or both).

1. First Alternative

This will be for both light and heavy vehicles, involving motorists travelling at the Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) from Putrajaya heading to Puchong Prima. They will be directed to use Jalan Puchong Intan, passing by Jalan Intan 2 to Jalan Indah 2 and into the roundabout towards Puchong Prima.

2. Second Alternative

Heavy vehicles travelling on the LDP from Putrajaya heading to Puchong Prima have the alternative to enter the slip road into Persiaran Puchong Perdana, entering Jalan Teratai and Persiaran Puchong Perdana 2 and into the roundabout towards Puchong Prima.

3. Third Alternative

Promoted

The last alternative road will be for light vehicles where they have the option to enter the slip road into Persiaran Puchong Perdana, into Jalan Perdana 2/1 to enter Jalan Teratai and into Persiaran Puchong Perdana 2, before entering the roundabout towards Puchong Prima.
