Apple has just announced the new iPhone 5! The first shipment of the iPhone 5 will start on 21 September 2012 in the USA along with eight other countries including Singapore. However, when will it be released in Malaysia?
Let’s take a look at the history of the iPhone release dates in Malaysia compared to the States.

• USA iPhone 3G Release Date: 11 July 2008
• Malaysia iPhone 3G Release Date: 20 March 2009
iPhone 3G was released in Malaysia approximately 9 months after the States.

• USA iPhone 3GS Release Date: 19 June 2009
• Malaysia iPhone 3GS Release Date: 31 July 2009
iPhone 3GS was released in Malaysia approximately 5 weeks after the USA.

• USA iPhone 4 Release Date: 24 June 2010
• Malaysia iPhone 4 Release Date: 26 September 2010
iPhone 4 was released in Malaysia approximately 3 months after the USA.

• Malaysia iPhone 4S Release Date: 16 December 2012
