Prince William and Kate Middleton Arrive in Malaysia!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Catherine, arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport a few hours ago to begin their four-day official visit to Malaysia.

Malaysia is the second destination for the Royal couple as thy embark on a nine days tour of Southeast Asia. They had just arrived from Singapore. The tour is to mark the 60-year reign of the Queen.

As soon as they arrived, the royal couple went straight to Putrajaya to meet Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, at the prime minister official residence, Seri Perdana, before attending a luncheon with them.

It was also reported that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will have an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agon Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah, and will attend a royal dinner at Istana Negara this evening.

For the duration of their stay, the royal couple will visit Hospis Malaysia, a charitable organisation which offers professional palliative care to patients suffering from life-limited illnesses, the Kuala Lumpur City Centre Park and Danum Valley, a primary tropical rainforest in Sabah.

Their visit to KLCC’s park is scheduled to take place tomorrow between 10am-11.30am. This is a good chance for the public to meet to catch a glimpse of the royal couple.

They will leave Malaysia on Sunday for Solomon Islands.
