Malaysia’s police join officers around the world in Running Man Challenge

A new viral dance phenomenon is taking the world by storm called the Running Man Challenge. With a viral trend similar to the Harlem Shake and Whip / Nae Nae, even police departments from all corners of the globe are getting in on this dance craze, including Malaysia’s very own Astro Auxiliary Police. The concept began with two American teenage boys, Kevin Vincent and Jeremiah Hall, who had been posting videos of themselves dancing on Instagram.

The trend intercepted mainstream media through two University of Maryland basketball players, Jared Nickens and Jaylen Brantley, who posted their own version of the dance online, spreading the challenge through the sporting world.
And now, it’s spreading through international law enforcement:
