Dr Shen-li Lee, founder of online child development resource figur8.net and a parent at Garden International School, has been scouring for and accumulating educational and development resources for children since the birth of her first child in 2007. In her search, she has discovered that providing the best in fundamental basics to survival is key to unlocking excellence in children.

Dr Lee now shares the insights and knowledge she has gleaned thus far in Brainchild: Secrets to Unlocking Your Child’s Potential, published by MPH Group Publishing. Dr Lee’s debut book explores the importance of providing optimum fundamental necessities such as sleep, rest, nutrition, touch and security to children so that they can focus on being the best they can be.

Brainchild was launched at GIS on 3 June 2016 where Dr Lee discussed how parents can unlock their child’s potential to fullest.

“Dr Lee provides a refreshing perspective on how to raise children and how we define success. Her insights and experiences are a valuable guide for parents who want their children to grow up with lifelong positive values. The book is full of sound advice on how to support your child for success that transcends beyond school and into wider life,” said the acting principal of Garden International School, Colter Watt.

Backed by case studies and various research findings, Brainchild provides straightforward insights on how to get the best results from your children in what they set out to do.
