Writers Abroad, a community dedicated for expat writers, are on the lookout for talented authors for submissions of short stories, non-fiction pieces and poetry, for their third anthology entitled ‘Foreign Encounters’.

The theme focuses on relationships around the world, and the selected stories/poems will be published in a book, and later on be available as an e-book. The foreword for this anthology will be written by Julia Gregson, author of best-selling novel ‘East of the Sun.’
All profits made by Writers Abroad will be donated to Books Abroad, a charity that believes in education for solving the world’s problems. The charity aims to provide free, carefully chosen school books, to educate as many children as they can.
This submission is only for expat writers and former expat writers, and there is a word limit as well; 1700 words max for fiction, 1000 words max for non-fiction, and 30 lines max for poems.
Log on to, for a complete list of guidelines. Submission ends 31 July 2012, so you better hurry!
