No More Arrival Cards for Foreigners

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Home Ministry released a statement saying that foreigners coming into the country will no longer have to fill up arrival cards issued by the Immigration Department, starting 1st June 2012.

According to a statement by Secretary-General Tan Sri Mahmood Adam, the procedure is no longer required because the Immigration Department had already introduced the biometric recording system for every foreigner upon arrival, under the National Enforcement Registration System (NERS).

For further clarification, please contact the Immigration Department at 1-800-22-6969.
