What brought you to Malaysia and how long have you been here?
I have been in Malaysia for around 10 years. I loved the vibrant energy and dynamic growth of KL. It was the kind of environment I wanted to explore and expand my design creativity.

What were your impressions of Malaysia before you came? How have they changed, if indeed they have?
Like most, I knew little about Malaysia and what it had to offer. I was surprised by the vibrant lifestyle and growth.

If you had to pick a sound, a smell, a taste or a touch to describe Malaysia, what would it be?
Sunshine.

What are the three things you like most about living in Malaysia?
I enjoy my work, my lifestyle, and my circle of friends.

What are three things you dislike about living in Malaysia?
I dislike the rain during rush hour, trying to find parking downtown, and the fact that Astro cuts out when it rains.

Name three places you would take an overseas visitor.
Any hotel rooftop lounge in the city, anywhere in StarHill Gallery, and Cameron Highlands.

Name three typical weekend activities that you enjoy.
At the weekend, I usually work and have dinners with friends.

Do you own property here? If so, where? If not, why?
Yes, in Bukit Antarabangsa.

Are most of your friends Malaysians or expats? Why?
My friends are a perfect mix of both locals and expats. Malaysians are easy to click with, but I’ve met a few spaced-out expats.

What do you miss most about your home country?
I miss my family.
