Malaysia Airlines will be retiring the last of its Boeing 747 aircraft from its operation by November this year, according to a report in the Business Traveller.
The Boeing 747 will retire from the Kuala Lumpur (KLIA)-London Heathrow (LHR) route from 24 November, and from the KLIA-Sydney service after the departure of MH122 from the Australian city on 25 November.
According to the Business Traveller, MAS’s second A380 will join its fleet next month (August). The A380 will begin its route between KLIA and LHR. The third A380 is expected to arrive in November, and will also be flying daily between Malaysia and Sydney.
