2020 Apec Summit to be hosted by Malaysia

After 22 years, Malaysia is set to host the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation leaders’ summit in 2020.

The Star newspaper wrote that Malaysia’s Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak confirmed that Malaysia is the next host for the meeting.

“The summit will be held in Bali, Indonesia, next year; it will be in China in 2014, while the Philippines and Peru will host it in 2015 and 2016, respectively,” the report states.

Datuk Seri Najib has also accepted an invitation from the United States to host the Global Entrepreneur Summit next year.
