Don’t you just hate it when you accidently drop your phone in a puddle of water, or when it gets wet in the rain, and the device stops functioning normally? Believe it or not, there is now a solution to this problem called Liquipel.
Liquipel is a revolutionary water shield substance for electronic devices, newly launched in Malaysia. This new nano coating technology from the USA will put an end to you losing important data, photos and videos from your gadgets because of accidental water or liquid damages. This includes mobile phones, tablets, laptops and digital cameras.
The Liquipel technology is a process that applies a water safe nano-coating to electronic devices to protect them in the event of accidental exposure to liquids. The coating is not visible to the human eye and is virtually undetectable (as it is 1,000 times thinner than the human hair). Liquipel will not compromise the look, feel, and performance of your electronic devices.
Interested in giving this new technology a go? Bring your electronic devices to the centre, or to any one of the three partner outlets located in 1Utama Shopping Mall and LowYat Plaza. The process of protecting your device takes about an hour and will cost between RM189-RM239. However, prices may vary depending on the type of device.
Once protected with Liquipel, you can use your device during everyday activities and in conditions such as rainy days, sweating when playing sports, in the shower, sauna, hot tub or bath tub, snow activities, boating activities, humid environments and such.
At the moment, only selected models are accepted (because the company is still conducting test on other models); Apple, HTC, Samsung and Motorola. These include devices such as mobile phones, ipads, tablets, cameras and earphones.
