If you are driving from the Puchong Barat Toll Plaza, you can now use the newly-constructed bridge at the Subang Jaya Selatan Interchange to get to Shah Alam, Klang and Hicom.

According to the New Straits Times, the Subang Residency Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of One City Property Sdn Bhd, will be implementing the new traffic management scheme from 22 December.

According to the article, “motorists heading towards Shah Alam, Klang and Hicom will have to keep right to get onto the new bridge. However, only two lanes on the three-lane bridge will be open to motorists. The developer is currently putting the finishing touches onto the third lane, which will be ready at the end of February 2013. Motorists heading towards Persiaran Kewajipan will need to keep left and use the slip road located beside the new bridge before turning right into Persiaran Kewajipan.” Once the final lane on the bridge is completed, the traffic light at the Subang Jaya Selatan Interchange will be removed.

The cost of the bridge and traffic diversion scheme is RM60 million.

Banners and buntings will be put up and flyers will be distributed to inform motorist of the change in the traffic flow.
