Sandip Das, the CEO and Director of Maxis has quit the Malaysian telecom company.
Based on a statement by Maxis, Das’s tenure as the CEO of Maxis was supposed to end on 30 June 2013, but he requested for an earlier release. The Board of Maxis then decided that Das will resign as CEO of Maxis from 15 April 2013.
Johen Dennelind will replace Das as CEO beginning 1 July 2013.
Sandip Das has been with Maxis for six years. In that time, he has overseen projects such as Aircel and Maxis’ India operations.
