Back for round two, famous nu-metal band Linkin Park is set to return to KL after almost a ten-year hiatus. Featured to be their only show in the region, the two-time Grammy Award winners will commence their Living Things World Tour at Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
According to concert organizer Wonderland+, Linkin Park will be touring Malaysia exclusively due to their limited time, ultimately missing Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore.
The band consists of co-lead vocalist Chester Bennington, other co-lead vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist Mike Shinoda, guitarist Brad Delson, drummer Rob Bourdon, bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, DJ and programmer Joe Hahn.
Tickets went on sale from 16th June 2013, albeit only for LP Underground members (registered official Linkin Park fans group). Non-official fans picked up their pre-sale tickets from June 21-30. Normal tickets are available now.
Ticket prices are divided into the following categories: free seating – RM95, RM195, RM295; and free standing – RM350 (Playground Zone), RM450 (Rock Zone), RM550 (The Pit), RM680 (VIP).
The concert will be held on August 19th at 8pm.
