The Pet Shop Boys to Perform in KL in September

Electro-pop icons, The Pet Shop Boys are coming to Malaysia for the first time this September for a live performance of their latest album, Electric.

This iconic duo made up of Neil Tennant, 60 and Chris Lowe, 54 describe the album as being “very much set on the dance floor”.It’s sure to be an exciting show with lighting and set design created in collaboration with award-winning creative director Es Devlin who has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga and Jay-Z, as well as lending his creative skills to the 2012 Olympics’ closing ceremony.

The Pet Shop Boys, who formed over 30 years ago have earned their place in The Guinness Book of Records as the most successful duo in UK music history, and have transcended the times and borders with more than 50 million album sales worldwide to date. Expect the unexpected with interactive visuals, energetic choreography, outlandish costumes and an impressive light and laser show. For their die-hard Malaysian fans, classics such as ‘West End Girls’, ‘It’s a Sin’, ‘Suburbia’ and ‘Always on my Mind‘ will also be performed.
