Malaysia’s all-day creative arts festival featuring the best talents in music, art, design, photography and more is back again this year, with loads more offerings to thrill you. Taking place on the 6th of December, 2014, this year’s event will be held at the Horse Ranch, Resorts World Genting. This is the first time the festival will be held at this amazing venue that is set to bring a whole new festival experience to you.
The event starts at 2pm and is set to feature performances by Los Angeles-based, indie rock band Local Natives (“Gorilla Manor”, “Heavy Feet”). Playing alongside them will be American college rock outfit The Lemonheads (“It’s a Shame About Ray”). Fans can also look forward to local indie bands such as OJ Law (“Fantastic Adventure”, “Tongue-Tied”), Ali Aiman (“Breathe”), and Najwa (“Got to Go”, “Before”).
Urbanscapes Festival passes are priced at RM157 (phase 1), RM187 (phase 2), RM207 (phase 3) and RM227 (at the door).
As a run-up to the event, Chvrches will be in Malaysia on 19 November for an exclusive Urbanscapes Satellite Show at KL Live in Kuala Lumpur. Doors opens at 7pm. Tickets to catch Chvrches live are priced at RM127 (early bird), RM147 (pre-sale) and RM167 (at the door).
Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketpro.com and all Ticketpro Outlets including outlets in Penang, Johor Bahru, Malacca and Sabah. More artistes and performers will be announced at a later date so keep checking with Urbanscapes for updates.
