This article is brought to you in part by the British School of Kuala Lumpur (BSKL).

The British School of Kuala Lumpur welcomed in the Year of the Rooster with Primary and Secondary students putting on two spectacular Chinese New Year performances. Their very own Chinese drummers opened the celebrations with a bang to packed-out crowds of parents and students.

Students then went on to captivate the audience by performing traditional Chinese New Year fan and umbrella dances, songs, and recitations of Chinese poetry. And of course it wouldn’t be Chinese New Year without a lion dance! Thanks to all who helped make BSKL’s 2017 Chinese New Year festivities such a rousing success!
