This article is brought to you in part by the British International School of Kuala Lumpur (BSKL).

We were very excited to welcome Dr James Grime and his Enigma machine to the British School of Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday 21st February. Whilst at the school, Dr Grime worked with students on cracking their own codes and brought to life the maths and historical significance of cryptology.

Student and parents also enjoyed talks retelling the epic tale of man against machine – including a full demonstration with the original WWII Enigma Machine – as Dr James Grime illuminated the brilliant mathematical insights and innovative thinking of Alan Turing.
