School Snaps: SKIS Students’ French Exchange Trip

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

A student exchange programme was organised between 34 Sri KDU International School students and their pen-pals in Bordeaux, France this past April. The overseas trip was unique because the Malaysian students and teachers were being hosted by and stayed with French families. This turned out to be an exciting experience as they had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the daily life of French families. They visited a farm, vineyard and a school, participated in an interactive tour of Bordeaux and had a boat tour of Arcachon Bay. This visit to France enabled students to improve their speaking and understanding of the French language and culture.
