As the calendar turns once again to December, the festive 2017 Christmas holiday season is upon us. While Malaysia doesn’t boast picturesque snowfalls or classic Christmas specials on TV, the country is well-known for its spectacular shopping…and few holidays put as much focus on shopping as Christmas!
Bangsar’s premier shopping destination, Bangsar Shopping Centre, has once again scheduled a full slate of events, activities, and Christmas treats to tempt holiday shoppers and make all those gift-buying excursions even more joyful. Of course, the upscale mall is decked out beautifully in its holiday best to brighten up the mood and get shoppers in the Christmas spirit, but beyond that, BSC has added a number of events and performances – along with some special promotions – to make 2017’s holiday shopping extra rewarding!
The Joys of Christmas
From November 24 right through to Christmas Eve, BSC will showcase a wide range of special activities and performances. Perhaps nobody enjoys Christmas more than children, and so BSC has made a special effort to ensure kids are well-catered to during their parents’ holiday shopping excursions.
Santa and Santarina will be strolling around BSC on selected dates, giving out goodies and cheers to kids of all ages. There are tons of activities to keep the little ones occupied, such as the Christmas Art & Crafts, Kids’ Personalised Gifts, and Jungle Gym Christmas Bash Party!
Christmas music will be featured in abundance to spread even more cheer, with performances by a brass band, Horns for Christmas, La Voce Choir, Pied Piper Strolling, The Rhythmic Tune, String Quartert, Christmas Carolling by St Ignatius Church, and a Kids’ Dance.
Shoppers at BSC can enjoy an extra treat while doing their holiday shopping – if they spend RM1,000 or more in any of BSC’s many outlets, they are entitled to a special Christmas Canister. And for CIMB cardholders, shoppers only need to spend RM800!
Once again this year, dedicated booths at the Christmas Bazaar will be set up selling Christmas ornaments, seasonal fashion, holiday gift sets, special kids’ apparel, and more. These holiday-themed booths will be at the Ground Floor Main Concourse area and Annex Linkway while the festive Christmas decorations run throughout the shopping center.
When you’re done with your shopping, you won’t have to worry about rushing home to wrap them as there’s also a Complimentary Wrapping Service at BSC! Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM200 are entitled to free Gift Wrapping Services at the Memory Lane Booth at the Ground Floor Concourse area.
So this year, to make your holidays brighter and your Christmas merrier, be sure to visit BSC and get into the spirit of the season with their range of activities and performances running from November 24 to December 24, with the full complement of offerings available throughout each of the last three weekends leading up to Christmas!
