Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Sri KDU International School held its second annual Fun Run to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Malaysia and Rumah Kasih Harmoni Care Home. This event saw active participation from students of Years 1-12.

Students ran for a prescribed period of time aiming to complete as many laps as possible in the allotted time. The sponsorship was based on the number of laps completed. The route along the perimeter of the campus took runners past side roads and the campus entry gates.

The unexpected appearance of the 2018 sports mascot, the Sun Bear, created much excitement among the runners. The buzz around the KDU campus was amazing and so were the runners. It was good to see so many parents supporting and cheering everyone on.

RM52,093 was collected from sponsors, including friends and family members. More importantly, the event instilled solidarity, team spirit, and a sense of belonging among the school community.
