The Entertainer app has been in Malaysia for several years now, and successfully so. Just recently, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at Bijan Bar and Restaurant with some of our regular TEG card members where they shared their experiences in using the app. Amidst a unique Malay ambience and delicious bites of chargrilled short ribs, threadfin fish fillets cooked in lightly spiced coconut milk, udang sambal berempah, wild fern stir-fried with chili, and more, we experienced perhaps the best Malay cuisine in the country.
The most popular category is, unsurprisingly, food and drink. The ENTERTAINER, being a 1-for-1 concept, worked great for their family day out, and even a girls’ get together. In fact, some even planned a whole day out with The ENTERTAINER. They start with breakfast, then head to a manicure, and finish up with tea for two; all at either 1-for-1 (F&B) or 50% off (services like manicures and massages).
Our members also found the in-app notifications and social postings by The ENTERTAINER useful, with updates and prompts on new and exciting merchants and great offers to check out. Although it took a bit of time to get familiar with the map search function, they reported having a seamless experience once they knew how it worked.
Over the tasty bowls of Sago Gula Melaka with coconut ice cream and sweet potato doughnuts, it was clear that our members loved The ENTERTAINER and were excited to keep using it. Have you tried The ENTERTAINER for yourself? The ENTERTAINER 2019 version is on sale now for a special early bird price of RM95.
