Flying Honu is Set to Soar the Skies

All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest airline carrier by fleet are launching their new non-stop Airbus A380 aircrafts. The passenger jets are scheduled for operation between Tokyo Narita and Honolulu on 24th May 2019.

Featuring their brand new “Flying Honu” sea turtle liveried A380 aircrafts, the carrier will operate a limited frequency for the first month of the new route operations, before increasing service to a daily service from 1st July onwards.

The new A3080’s will four classes of travel including first, business, premium economy, and economy. All first class cabins will be fitted with brand new seating, as well as economy class, featuring ANA Couchii seats that turn into a kind of flatbed.

Tickets have gone on sale on 10th January 2019 for first class and economy class Couchii seats. For passengers who have purchased early tickets for business, premium economy, and economy will be notified respectively of the aircraft upgrade.

Round-trip fares for first class start at 350,000 yen or US$3,244 not inclusive of taxes and surcharges. ANA Mileage Club members may redeem first class award tickets for 12,000 miles during low seasons, and 129,000 miles during high seasons.
