Print Friendly, PDF & Email

R.E.A.L Schools, Shah Alam Campus celebrated the achievement of two of its secondary students, Hannah Lee Hui Wern, and Ong Kay Lynn for clinching the Bronze Award at last year’s Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition which attracted 12,000 participants worldwide. Hannah took on the senior category topic entitled “The road to a safer future” while Kay Lynn tackled the following junior category topic: “Write a recipe for a common future: what ingredients will you need? What is the best method for making it? What will it look like?” These topics were based on the theme of the year, which was simply “Towards a Common Future”. This international competition is an opportunity for young Commonwealth citizens and residents, regardless of region, education or background, to share ideas, celebrate their story, and have their voices heard – all whilst developing key skills. Congratulations to both budding writers for showcasing ‘REAL excellence’!
