Being the hub of Southeast Asia, the country of Singapore has a lot to offer in terms of high-quality lodging. We have had a great opportunity to stay at the 4-star Parc Sovereign Hotel Singapore, and found it absolutely delightful.
Located only a little over 10 minutes away from the Rochor MRT station, this picturesque property is situated very close to numerous shops and restaurants. The hotel also has the iconic Little India just down the road, with the airport being only 16km away.
We stayed at the Albert Street lot, a mid-tier class hotel with 172 rooms, and right in the arts, culture, learning and entertainment hub of Singapore, where many well-cared for institutions, galleries and museums are only a stones’ throw away. It was perfect for our needs, but those wanting a little more luxury can be directed to Parc Sovereign’s second location on Tyrwhitt near Lavender MRT station.
What surprised us was the quality of the hotel for a very reasonable cost considering it is Singapore. Not only was the contemporary accommodation up to standard in meeting the needs of both leisure and business travellers, the multi-cultural aspects of Singapore were beautifully present. We got the best of Western hospitality with stunning views of Southeast Asian flair as areas like colourful Little India, ethnic Kampong Glam, and the culturally-rich Chinatown were right outside our windows.
We had a lovely surprise as soon as we walked into the elegant lobby of this 4-star hotel in Singapore. Two staff members with lovely smiles greeting and welcoming us to the hotel really gave a wonderful first impression.
The rooms came equipped with Wi-Fi coverage, round-the-clock cable movie entertainment channels, and ample space for comfortable resting. In connection with the general amenities, we do recommend a swim in their nice-sized swimming pool, perfect for family fun.
Given a chance to visit Singapore again we would certainly pick this lovely family hotel for giving us such a nice, pleasant, and enjoyable stay.
