Combining interactive theatre and live-action gameplay, Game On hopes to break down the forth wall between audience and performer in an entirely progressive play. Featuring masters of stagecraft Kent Tan, Fendi Shah, actors Charles Roberts and Mia Sabrina, novice directors, and faces to look out for in the industry, this play will be held at the Now Theatre for RM42 (online) and RM52 (walk-in). ILHAM Conversations with Kam Raslan & Simon Soon

Author Kam Raslan and Arts lecturer Simon Soon will delve into the Selangor Journal, a news sheet published in just a span of five years in the 19th century, but which contains a conclusive documentation of Kuala Lumpur from 1893 to 1897. From development projects, local news, and research reports, to the European community gossip, and writings on other aspects of life, this uncovering of Malaysia’s capital city before what we know of it today is bound to inspire new appreciation for the area and its people.

Preloved is Reloved 7

Returning due to popularity from its sixth run just a little over half a year ago, the PreLoved is Reloved flea market comes back for its seventh installment. Featuring APW’s three event spaces of The Bookmark, The Bindery, and The Canopy, over 60 vendors will be providing a fun-filled weekend of cheap buys and eats for the best bargains around.
