Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Excelsior International School Grade 5 children are participating in an International Global Goals Competition, which is linked to the U Sustainable Development Goals. The development goals are: Zero Hunger, Good Health, and Wellbeing.

The students collaborated with Kenchara Soup Kitchen in Johor Bahru in been helping to feed and clothe low income families in the community.

The aim of the project is to continue and sustain this project throughout the whole school. The students learned how to sort the food (donated by Tesco and Aeon), have them all weighed, and calculate how much each family would receive. They then helped to distribute all food packages. We could not have been more proud of how responsible, hardworking, and respectful they were.

Thank you to the amazing children we have at EIS; they never fail to impress us.
