Garden International School is delighted to announce that it has been recognised as an Apple Distinguished School for 2019–2021, being the second time the school has received the prestigious accolade. As an Apple Distinguished School, GIS has been highlighted as a centre of innovation, leadership, and educational excellence – successfully using technology to inspire creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Apple recognised that GIS has developed a high level of understanding, knowledge, and application regarding the effective use of technologies in education. A wide array of digital tools and applications are now firmly embedded within GIS’ approach to student learning and all aspects of its learning culture. GIS was also recognised for its number of Apple qualified Teachers and Apple Distinguished Educators – the school currently boasts 12 Apple Teachers and 4 Apple Distinguished Educators across its teaching faculty. In a special ceremony to mark the achievement, GIS was honoured to host Apple at school – offering all those involved the opportunity to celebrate together.
