A new installment of the long-running Fast & Furious franchise has released its latest full-length feature starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham. Unlike previous sequels, the two formidable enemies decide to team up to defeat a cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist, Brixton (starring Idris Elba). This film surely gives a new angle to Fast & Furious as it’s no longer limited to auto-racing but now elevated with the mission to save humanity with more actions.

The Art of Racing in the Rain

The conflict circles around Rick Dalton and his stunt double, Cliff Booth, as Dalton contemplates on his dying status as a star and searches for ways to retain his stardom. Blinded by The Light

It’s “Blinded by the light” everyone! Ring a bell? The movie refers to Bruce Springsteen’s hit melody that inspires a Muslim-Pakistani boy living in UK. Inspired by a memoir of Sarfraz Manzoor, this film is about Javid, a teenage Pakistani boy living in a suburb during the 80’s as he discovers the unique expressive voice within himself. In this coming of age story, it’s a love letter of sorts for the admiration the boy had towards Springsteen and his way of navigating his life.
