Domestic Bliss
The sequel to the ‘Pollination’ collection, two artists have worked closely together for over six months to explore the idea of ‘domus’: the house, and its subsequent evolution to ‘domestic’: made in the home. The precarious notion of home and belonging is unwrapped from the perspectives of artists Malaysian Izat Arif and Vietnamese Hoàng Minh Đúc.

Artroom 22 1st Anniversary
Celebrating a whole year of bringing artists together to showcase their creations and art lovers to explore their hobbies, Artroom 22 is here to feature even more local artists! Over 26 local creators will be featured on the auspicious day of the 11th of January, and the event will be held in the historical Lot 18 Gallery.

DREAMS Group Exhibition: Transcending Reality
11 visual artists come together to explore the many interpretations of the ‘dream’ and the psyche through their own mediums and styles. Discover how everything, from personal experience, to culture, gender, and belief influence the thought and perspective of the self and everything around.

The Body Politic and The Body
Ilham Gallery and the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) unite for a first collaboration to jointly feature the many facets of contemporary art and its genealogies from both galleries’ collection. This exhibition will focus on the tension between the socio-political body of Malaysian society as an individual subjective body and as a collective entity. Many renowned pieces from past collections as well as new additions such as performance pieces and commissioned works will be displayed to engage and address all bodies of art and knowledge of Malaysia.
