Sip & Paint Night @ SOULed Out Ampang: Lighthouse

Spend a night sipping and painting with a friend or family member! For RM140, get a drink (beer, Mojito, wine, coffee, or tea), a dining voucher, and all the art materials you’d need for a wholesome, guided session. Children younger than 12 years old are unfortunately not permitted as this is an alcohol-filled event, and those wishing to reschedule should notify SOULed Out three days prior. Hike and Clean with Raleigh Kuala Lumpur

Join the Kota Damansara Community Forest volunteers and the Temuan orang asli for a joint clean-up effort of the community’s forest! A whole 14km trail frequently visited by hikers and mountain bikers needs some care in order to retain functionality and eco-friendly existence. Registration fees are at only RM10, and will cover light snacks, drinks, and tools needed for the clean-up. Contact [email protected] or visit their social media pages for more information.

Kuala Lumpur BlaBla Language Exchange Event

Come and learn how to speak the languages of the world with this group of fun-loving linguists! Held in the cosy Attic Bar on Jalan Balai Polis in Kuala Lumpur, this 4-hour session will introduce you to the many local languages in Malaysia, the essential ‘rojak’ sentences we use, and other languages you might be keen to pick up after listening to a fluent speaker. Story Party Malaysia | True Dating Stories

PJ Live Arts brings back yet another edition of the hilarious and relatable True Dating Stories, where professional storytellers and some brave audience members share hilarious moments where dates went wrong (or very very right!) 7th Malaysian Jazz Piano Festival

This 3-day festival is set to bring you Malaysia’s most prominent jazz festival to the stages of klpac in Sentul. International performers and local talents will be showcasing their arts, and a Jazz Talent Competition will see the newest faces in the scene exhibiting their chops. Come and enjoy free workshops covering music instruments and jazz topics in history and current affairs. The Writing of a Contested Space: Learning to Read a City

As someone who has seen the change time brought to the city, she approaches the community from the home, work, and worship perspective, noting their many nuances and factors, and how each has been affected by conservation, tourism, and new ideas on heritage to become a ‘contested space’.
