ILHAM Conversations: Apa Apa
Established in response to socio-polotical events in 1998, the Artist Pro Activ (APA) is hosting a panel to encourage the arts community in taking a pro-active role in developing a more open society. With discussions on the APA Festival that ran in 1998, producers of that event will be revisiting the setting up of the event and the many responses and ideas that could have happened or to be revisited for Malaysia as a creative society.

Ahmet Öğüt – History Otherwise
Hosting his first ever exhibition in Malaysia, Turkish conceptual artist Ahmet Ögüt explores the realities of modern life via four mediums: tapestry, mail art, drawings, and video. His overall compilation will ask audiences to ponder over the construction of global history, and the effects of fixed perspective and misrepresentations.
