School Snaps: GIS Hosts KL Model United Nations XI

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

This year marked the eleventh edition of the Kuala Lumpur Model United Nations, which was hosted by Garden International School.

Held on the weekend of 20th/21st March. Evidently, restrictions did not hinder the determination of over 200 participants from 30 schools, who joined the online event from six different countries to connect, collaborate, and debate with their peers.

Delegates and chairs engaged in a weekend of high-quality, stimulating and interesting discussion about current global issues, including the rise of big data, vaccine hesitancy, and even planetary evacuation! One thing became abundantly clear across the weekend: there is plenty of promise in our future generations of leaders across the region!

Well done to everyone who participated and a special thank you to those staff and students at GIS who dedicated many hours to ensure the event was a success.
