Alice Smith School is delighted to have won the Inclusion category at the International School Awards 2021 with their initiative, ‘KLASS Student Support Programme: empowering students to lead on in-class support’. The awards, hosted by ISC Research, recognise outstanding initiatives being delivered in international schools around the world, of which there are now 12,080 schools teaching over 6.7 million children from age 3 to 18.

Dr Maria Osoweicki, Secondary School Principal, said, “We are proud and delighted to have been awarded the Inclusion Initiative Award at the International School Awards. It is fantastic to have international recognition for the student-led in-class support programme which our Personalised Learning Faculty, led by Ray Jennings, has developed and evolved. From a handful of student volunteers, the programme now places over 60 students into in-class support each year, providing both connectivity and valuable support to our students.”
