ERL Increases KLIA Ekspres Frequency Starting August 1

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

It’s yet another sign of Malaysia’s transportation services incrementally returning to normal following over two years of pandemic-affected schedules.

Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) will be increasing its train service frequency from August 1, 2022 to cater to the increasing passenger ridership.

The KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit will continue to be operated as a combined service. The revised schedule will see the frequency improving from every 15 minutes to every 10 minutes during weekday peak hours (three services running every hour) while off-peak frequency will be increased from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes (three services every hour).

This represents a 50% increase in frequency for both peak and off-peak periods.

First train departure: 5:00am from both KL Sentral and KLIA2

Last train departure: 12:02am from both KL Sentral and KLIA2
