Print Friendly, PDF & Email

School and the educational experience can have an indelible impact on a child’s identity. In the latest VOX ISKL, The International School of Kuala Lumpur’s (ISKL) DEIJ Lead, Joel Jr. Llaban, was joined by international expert Daniel Wickner for a presentation and discussion about nurturing student identity through Identity-Centered Learning.

Daniel shared with parents and educators joining from around the world how the concept provides a framework that supports student identities, creates a nurturing learning environment, and helps students gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their community, and their world. A recording of the session can be found on ISKL’s YouTube and Spotify channels.

VOX ISKL is a thought leadership initiative specially created to share learning and ignite conversations about diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) within ISKL and the wider community. Previous sessions include Living by Our Values and The Art of Courageous Conversations.
