Malaysia’s premier whisky and spirits tasting event celebrates its milestone 10th edition this August – now at the beautiful new Crowne Plaza KLCC!

Get ready, Kuala Lumpur! WhiskyPLUS, Malaysia’s original and biggest whisky and spirits tasting event, is back on Saturday, August 16, 2025, with its 10th edition – and it’s going to be one to remember.

After three successful editions at the Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur, this year’s landmark event moves to the stylish new Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre, delivering a vibrant day of discovery, indulgence, and celebration for everyone from whisky veterans to curious newcomers.

Expect dozens of brands on hand for unlimited sampling – from iconic distilleries to niche independent bottlers. You’ll also find craft gins, premium rums, and exclusive bottles available for on-site purchase. It’s a tasting playground with something for every palate.

Beyond the many included sampling opportunities, guests can also visit the popular Collector’s Corner, where a tempting range of old, rare, and highly sought-after whiskies and other spirits are available for tasting on a by-the-dram purchase basis!

As always, everyone gets unlimited tasting in the main ballroom, an included meal, complimentary sparkling water, mocktails, and fresh coffee, and take-home goodies like a WhiskyPLUS tasting glass and handy glass-holding lanyard.

Naturally, however, VIP guests enjoy the best of the best, with access to special lounges, curated caviar and smoked seafood tastings, premium spirits, and a commemorative goodie bag. VIPs also get priority access to limited masterclass sessions – only pre-registered guests may participate, though any remaining spots will be available to all attendees during the event.

Need a safe ride home? WhiskyPLUS has teamed up this year with ride-hailing platform Bolt to offer discounted fares to and from the venue. (Promo codes will be posted on whiskyplus.my closer to the event.)

Additionally, Crowne Plaza KLCC will also be offering special discounted room rates for WhiskyPLUS guests who may want to turn their experience into a weekend staycation! That information will also be available on the website as ticket sales draw nearer.

Tickets go on sale starting June 16 on the WhiskyPLUS website, with early bird prices available for a limited time only. Capacity is strictly controlled to ensure a comfortable, enjoyable experience, so don’t wait too long!
