The retelling of the children’s all-time favourite, ‘The Jungle Book’, took place at R.E.A.L Schools, Shah Alam Campus’ Hall of Character on the 10th and 11th of August, 2018. The Primary students’ riveting performance took the audience on the thrilling adventures of Mowgli; the man-cub who was raised by a family of wolves; and his motley crew of animal friends. This unique rendition of the classic tale breathed new life into the story and presented entertaining numbers such as ‘Peacock Dance’, ‘Tiger Dance’, ‘Pocahontas Dance’, and ‘Little Village Dance’, among others.
From acting out skits, to exploring different characters and scenarios through songs and dance numbers; these annual concerts serve as a vital platform for young, budding talents to gain enriching experiences that help them build confidence, self-discipline, and social skills.
