You better hold on to your shirt and your front seats, because India’s laugh machine, the notoriously talented Mumbai-based former brand manager now turned stand-up comedian Rahul Subramanian is coming to Malaysia.
LOL Asia is proud to present one of the most brilliant young talents from India, Rahul Subramanian, on May 7th with his hilariously funny show titled ‘Who Are You?’ in performance at The Platform, Menara Ken TTDI at 8.30pm. (And if you’ve not been to this fine new event space in TTDI, we can’t think of a better way to check it out.)
Performing since 2014 after breaking into the comic scene by winning stand-up competitions like Virgin Pants and Canvas Laugh Club (All India open-mics), and also the first-ever YouTube Comedy Hunt (sketch video competition) along with his friend, Kumar Varun, for their YouTube channel ‘Random Chikibum,’ Rahul has appeared in the most recent seasons of Amazon Prime Video shows ‘Comicstaan’ and ‘Comedy Premium League,’ in addition to his own and very successful ‘Kal Main Udega’ Amazon Prime Video special.
In March 2023, Rahul was featured in Amazon Prime Video’s crowd-work special ‘Rahul Talks to People,’ featuring unscripted and unrehearsed conversations with six different sets of audiences across five cities. Gifted with a sharp sense of humour, his ability to be both extemporaneous and improvisational fuels his unique brand of comedy.
Back on the road with his brand-new stand-up comedy special titled “Who Are You?’ which commences its Southeast Asia tour beginning with Malaysia, Rahul jests, “If you’re struggling figuring out who you really are, then don’t worry, as this show will not be of help in any way!” Looking forward to his first show in Malaysia, Rahul quips, “Indians are everywhere; hence we can perform anywhere.”
Tickets are now LIVE and available online.
Rahul Subramanian is represented by LOL Asia in Malaysia.
