Malaysian-German Society’s Oktoberfest 2019

The MGS Oktoberfest Penang draws people from far and wide, and over time, it became so popular, that the event has had to be stretched to two consecutive nights. The festival will see expected crowds of at least 2500 visitors.
Expect authentic German food and beer as well as a bona fide and exciting Oktoberfest atmosphere. This year, visitors will be entertained by the band “Frankenräuber”, flown in from Bavaria especially for the event.
Visitors can also expect a few original Oktoberfest beers, as well as a variety of local and international brands. Your taste buds will be delighted with the finest German delicacies like sausages, meatloaf, sauerkraut, pretzels and more. Local and pork free food will also be provided as well as non-alcoholic drinks. Traditional games and entertainment for both adults and children will complete this unique experience.
Admission is by purchase of an Oktoberfest ticket, and due to the high crowd demand, we recommend to buy tickets well in advance. Tickets can be purchased at the MGS.
