Little Japan In Johor Baru

The town of Taman Molek and Ponderosa will soon be welcoming a Japanese village, Little Japan, complete with restaurants, retirement homes, spas, medical, working and religious facilities.

This is catered for the Japanese looking to retire in Johor Baru.

According to Global Asia Assets (M) Sdn Bhd, the company responsible for this expensive project, a total of 2,000 wealthy Japanese is expected to live, work and conduct business here, within the next two years.

Around 70 Japanese individuals have already relocated to Johor Baru under the Malaysia My Second Home Programme, while 365 Japanese investors have acquired properties worth more than RM400 million in Johor Baru. This overwhelming response resulted in the Little Japan project in Taman Molek and Ponderosa.
