Plain Clothes Policewomen to Help Tackle Snatch Thefts in Seremban

Policewomen in plain clothes will be deployed to various public places in Seremban to help tackle snatch thefts.

According to Deputy State Police chief SAC Datuk Hamzah Md Jamil, the policewomen in plain clothes will be placed in various public places such as supermarkets, bus terminals, banks and more, and will be wearing jewellery and carrying handbags.

According to Bernama, these women are trained to face snatch thieves and will hopefully succeed in tackling snatch thefts in Seremban.

“They are well-trained to face snatch thieves. So, to all snatch thieves out there, you better watch out,” said Datuk Hamzah.

“With the change of time, snatch theft has become a serious crime, especially when it began to claim human lives.

“Police view snatch theft very seriously because it will not only traumatise, but also cause hurt and death to the victims,” he added.
