Their first foray into Malaysia is a luxurious 312-room hotel which is part of an 8.5-acre integrated development by Guocoland which also include two condominiums, two office towers, and a mall.

Designed by Wilson Associates, the interior of the hotel blend local heritage with a sophisticated accent wall featuring the country’s tradition moon kite, or Wau Bulan, with french art vivre through an Eiffel Tower sculpture. The art pieces and sculptures were created specially for the hotel to pay homage to Malaysia’s rich local culture as well as Sofitel’s own French heritage.
