Magical 1 Malaysia Cancelled!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

A dozen of the world’s finest magicians were supposed to descend on Kuala Lumpur for the largest magic event held in Southeast Asia, the Magical 1 Malaysia Festival. Many were excited to witness some of the world’s top magicians such as Christopher Hart, Tony Hassini, Michael Ammar, and the rest perform. But unfortunately, the event was cancelled a few days ago; just a week before the actual event.

The Magical 1 Malaysia Festival was supposed to take place from the 23 to 25 March.  Those planning on attending, would have been disappointed, and will no doubt be seeking answers. We at The Expat, have just received an official email indicating the reason for the cancellation.

According to the organisers, on-going challenges with ticket sales for the Magical 1 Malaysia Festival led to the drastic and difficult decision to cancel the event. They apologise for all the disappointment and inconvenience this decision has caused.

This unfortunate decision is definitely a big blow for many of us who were really looking forward to a good show.  Hopefully, these magicians will perform in Malaysia one day.
