TEG Media is very pleased to bring the Mingle back after a two year hiatus with a new introduction of our Mingle Plus! Long-time loyal members of our Mingles and Wine Dinners returned with gusto when our first Mingle Plus of 2022 was held at the Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur on 24 March.
A Mingle Plus is an elevated Mingle usually hosted by 4 or 5-star hotels with a more elaborate buffet spread, premium quality wines, and very attractive lucky draw prizes such as an Apple iPad.
The Eastin team were splendid hosts for our Mingle Plus, and we can’t thank General Manager Andrew Law enough! Andrew spent a great deal of the evening with us making sure everything ran smoothly and was happy to chat with all our guests and members.
Everyone loved the premium New Zealand wines prepared for the evening; we served a 2014 Woven Stone Pinot Gris and a 2013 Walmea Trev’s Red that had many go back for more.
GM Andrew Law and his team spoilt us with their buffet selection of endless small bites and appetisers along with delicious percik marinated chicken kebabs, creamy pan seared halibut fillet with thermidor sauce, crispy oyster fritters, toasted pistachio cheese arancini, and a whole rack of lamb with red cabbage and balsamic raisin sauce.
Desserts were plentiful too much to everyone’s delight, and one very lucky winner walked away with an Apple iPad for the night’s lucky draw! We’d like to thank Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur for providing such a fantastic space, food, and service for all of us.

As a result of continued price increases in the market, mostly for wine, we have had to adjust some of the prices for our monthly Mingles. We have kept the increases as modest as possible, and feel that the Mingle still represents one of the very best value-for-money regular social events in Kuala Lumpur.

The Mingle is usually a two hour social event with beer, wine, and food held at a different restaurant/bar in the Klang Valley every month. It’s a great place to hang out with friends and meet new people. Both Malaysians and Expats are encouraged to join.
