Agreeing to disagree, persistently progressing despite the uncertainty, negotiating with differences in opinion, handling different opinions with an open mind, solution-focused thinking.

These are attributes any parent would be proud to see in their children. On the 2nd of September 2016, FAIRMUN’s (Fairview’s Model United Nations) third annual conference took place, inviting over 360 youth from as far as India and Iran to tackle international issues surrounding security, human rights, war and economics. They put adults to shame by discussing sensitive issues with great maturity and respect, negotiating differences and solving problems. Incredible wisdom was imparted by Ms Tricia Yeoh (Chief Operating Officer at IDEAS) , Ms Yeo Bee YIn (Selangor State AssemblyWoman for Damansara) and Syed Saddiq (Three time winner of the ABP Best speaker award).

An amazing conference, a life changed, a brighter future, Fairmun 2016.
