Durian, Jam or Star Anise Moon Cake; Do You Dare?

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Mid-Autumn Festival is known for its delicious moon cakes, and Mandarin Oriental’s Chinese eatery Lai Po Heen presents a gorgeous and delicious array of these treats that make a wonderful gift or a sumptuous snack.

The team at Lai Po Heen craft each piece by hand, and their signature Snow Skin Moon cake with Durian Paste is set to delight those with a tolerance for that curious fruit, while such interesting combinations as White Chocolate Moon cake with Orange Ganache and Jam, or rich Dark Chocolate Moon cake with Star Anise sound too scrummy to be missed.

Sold in packs of 4 or 6, the sets are priced from RM84 onwards and available until the end of the month. Order moon cakes by calling 03.2179 8885 or emailing [email protected] and collect them from Lai Po Heen (Level 1, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur) between 12pm and 10.30pm daily. Lai Po Heen moon cakes will also be available in 1Utama Shopping Centre from 14-30 September.
