Lane Closure on Jalan Damansara

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

According to reports, the right-most lane of Jalan Damansara, in both directions (Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya-bound), will be closed from 15 January to 30 April. This is to facilitate construction works for the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT).

The closure will cover a distance of 1.2 kilometres from the Taman Tun Dr Ismail Petronas Station, to the Indah Water Konsortium Severage Treatment Plant, also in Taman Tun.

One new lane will be opened, to make up for the closed lanes, in both directions. As usual, motorists should keep a look out for safety barriers, traffic cones and traffic flagmen, which are placed to pre-warn motorists of the on-going works.

There will also be a 24-hour MRT Ronda, patrolling the route in case of any emergencies. For more information, visit www.mrt.com.my, or call the MRT hotline at 1 800 82 6868.
