Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Those who did not get to take advantage of Malaysia Airlines’ promotional deals for domestic and international travel during the recent MATTA fair can do so now, until 31 March 2013.

The offers that received overwhelming response and peaked up during the MATTA Fair last week are still much sought after by consumers who value the benefit of extra checked baggage allowance and fares that are lower than the earlier Malaysia Airlines promotions.

On the domestic front, consumers continue to snap up offers in great numbers for travel from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, Tawau and Sandakan, totaling to almost 36% of those who have purchased the national carrier’s special fares during the promotions.

The all-in economy class fares for these routes as well as for the routes between Kuala Lumpur and other East Malaysian destinations of Kuching, Miri, Sibu, Labuan and Bintulu are on offer at RM150 one way and RM300 for return. Similar fares are also available for travel from East Malaysia to Kuala Lumpur.

On Malaysia Airlines’ international network, the A380 routes are popular among travelers, with London continuing to be the most sought-after long haul destination by more than 9 % of the purchasers, while regionally Hong Kong is the favored destination of more than 13% of the customers. Paris is another favored A380 destination of travelers. In addition, other destinations like Taipei, Beijing and Shanghai continue to be popular among almost 15% of the purchasers.

The national carrier is offering attractive all-in fares from RM699 to Hong Kong, RM974 to Taipei, RM999 to Shanghai and Beijing and RM 2499 to London, Frankfurt, Paris and Amsterdam.

In addition, travelers flying with Malaysia Airlines now enjoy an additional 10 kilograms free checked baggage allowance and reduced excess baggage charges for travel in all classes.

Book these offers online through www.malaysiaairlines.com, Malaysia Airlines’ 24-hour toll-free Call Centre at 1 300 88 3000 and its ticket offices nationwide as well as its appointed agents.
