Some Malaysian Websites Come Under Attack at Election Time

Today many Malaysians are racing to designated areas to cast their votes.  It’s a close election between Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat.  The Verge, a major American online publication, has reported that many Malaysian websites, primarily aligned with the opposition coalition, have become inaccessible to typical users.  It is reported that these said websites have experienced ISP blocks and DDoS attacks.  You can read The Verge’s article here.
